Championship 2005

Avelon Formula begins the World Series by Renault Championship in 2005.

Avelon Formula has been chosen directly by the managers of the new championship - Renault Sport Technologies and RPM - with other 15 team (among more than 20 candidates).

The new European Series (from the merging of the old Formula Renault V6 and the World Series Nissan 3000) begins  from the plan called filière of the French racing team; this plan is a formative course for young drivers who come from Kart and that, step by step, through different categories, get closer to the Formula 1.

The Team has invested a lot on technologies, human resources, know-how development, organization and above all  on communication, in order to compete with the best companies of the category.

Our race organization, already good, has improved during the races and the Pit-Stop for tires change (the former demonstrates the achievement of a complete maturation of the Team) is became our strong point where Avelon men established themselves as the fastest of all the staff.

The two cars of Avelon Formula have taken part in all scheduled races  showing great reliability; no fault occurred to single-seats, thanks to a qualified staff, to a overhaul and to a deep monitoring and components change plan.

MEDIA COVERAGE

The championship has attracted media attention for its competitiveness, selectivity, experienced drivers and above all for the qualified Team. The supporters, race after race, poured into the stands: filled them as never in the past with more than 60,000 spectators on an average per weekend  and with180,000 spectators at Le Mans (French) and 110,000 at Bilbao (Spain) in the new city race.

As regards TV, all 17 races have been broadcasted live in many European and non-European countries ( unfortunately, Italy excluded) .
Below a list of the countries that could have seen the races live on TV:

Europe: French, Belgium, Spain, Great Britain, Sweden, Poland, Serbia;
South America: all the countries, such as Brazil, Argentina, Mexico, Venezuela, Colombia, Uruguay;
North America: USA, Canada;
Asia: Japan, Saudi Arabia;
Oceania: Australia.

Moreover, news and highlights about races, have been broadcasted weekly (in Italy there are only highlights).

As regards press, the sports magazines (and sometimes newspapers) of European countries have talked a lot about the Championship, but even  in this sector , the Italian press have assigned little space to this kind of news.
